Sonshines Cause
for Alarm
Pedigree
"Young"
Eddie.
Current picture
of Eddie.
NW Pugs is very pleased to have Eddie, who
came from the Sonshines Kennels out of Wisconsin.
Sonshines Kennel was built by a wonderful
woman named Rhea Murray, who showed many of her pugs to championship, thus building a reputation for fine breeding and
keeping to the pug standard.
Eddie is a
wonderful
example of the
AKC standard for
the pug. He has a
large,
round head
with small thin
black velvet
ears.
Eddie is very
short and cobby
with the
illusion of a
square build. His back is
short and level with the withers
with a high-set
double curl tail.
Eddie is also
everything you
could ask for in
personality and temperament.
He is
outgoing, inquisitive,
sweet, and fun
loving.
Eddie has been
our foundation
stud, and
produced many
healthy
beautiful
puppies for us.

Thunder is
champion sired,
and carries an
impressive
pedigree.
Thunder is even
more impressive
in conformation,
with a very
blocky build,
beautiful heavy
bone, and thick
double coat,
(very desirable
trait in a black
pug) In
personality he
is a big teddy
bear, sweet and
loving. We feel he is a
wonderful
addition to our
family!
Thunder comes to
us from Betty
Holten, of
Singing Winds
Kennels in
Washington
State. Betty is
well known here
in the NW as a
very worthy
competitor in
the show ring.
Betty's passion
for the breed is
represented in
the quality of
her pugs. Strong
and beautiful!
Retired Sires...
Presley is
retired, and
enjoying
himself. His
spare time is
divided between
attending to his
new family, and
lounging in
couch potato
fashion. He is
missed and loved
as always!
